Slovenian Travel Industry Workshop 2009

Mumbai & New Delhi

In the middle of September we entered the Indian market. In collaboration with our Indian representative Charson Advisory Service and Slovenian Tourist Board we successfully organized our first workshop for the travel trade, 10th September in Mumbai and 14th September in Delhi. The Slovenian delegation met with over 550 travel agents & tour operators across both cities. The highlight of the workshops was a Slovenian Folklore group that performed at the venue in both cities and amused the participants with traditional dances and dancing games.

The aim of the workshops was to create awarness of Slovenia as a travel destination. Our country is well endowed with natural beauty making it an attractive option for tourists. We can offer a wide range of products including spa & wellness, mountain and sea hotels, caves, nature, adventure and wildlife. Slovenia has all that Europe has to offer rolled into one. Accessible, affordable and welcoming, this is wonderful destination for the traveller.
